Privacy Policy

How HYDRisk collects, uses and protects the information you provide through this website and in the course of our consulting work.

Last updated — August 2026 GDPR aligned

In short: we collect only what you send us through our enquiry forms, we use it solely to respond to your enquiry and deliver the work you commission, and we never sell or share it with third parties for marketing. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing info@hydrisk.com.

Information we collect

We collect personal information in two ways: information you give us directly, and limited technical information collected automatically when you browse the site.

Information you provide
Contact details — your name, work email address, organisation and professional role.
Project information — project location, sector, scale, regulatory context, deadlines and the description you write in the enquiry form.
Correspondence — emails, proposals and any technical data you send us during a project.
Collected automatically
Standard server log data — IP address, browser type, pages visited and referring page.
Basic anti-spam checks applied when a form is submitted.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide for the following purposes only:

To respond to your enquiry and prepare a scope and proposal.
To deliver, manage and support the consulting services you commission.
To send you technical updates or articles — only if you have explicitly subscribed.

To protect the website from spam and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

04

Web3Forms — processes and delivers enquiry form submissions to our inbox.
Netlify — hosts this website and maintains standard access logs.
Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used across the site.
06

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a project are retained for up to 24 months, after which they are deleted. Project records — including reports, models and correspondence — are retained for the period required by our professional indemnity insurance and applicable law, typically six to twelve years from project completion.

Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

07

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Access the data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate information
Request deletion of your data
Object to or restrict processing
Receive your data in portable form
Withdraw consent at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email info@hydrisk.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK and are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and does not set cookies of its own. Your browser settings allow you to block or delete cookies at any time.

09

Security & international transfers

This site is served over HTTPS and all form submissions are encrypted in transit. Project data is stored on access-controlled systems, and technical files are shared with clients only through secure channels.

Because HYDRisk works across the USA, Europe, the Middle East and India, your information may be processed in a country other than your own. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for such transfers.
